Our Outreach Team seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting real, tangible needs in Gallatin, Sumner County and beyond.

We have outreach opportunities throughout the year. Here are a few of the ways we serve our community together.
Adopt-a-Street cleanup
Freedom Church has its own adopted street in Gallatin. Vests on, grabbers in hand, kids too, we keep it clean and take pride in the city we call home.
Helping Hands
Rides, yard work, storm cleanup, hauling and more for households in our church and community who need an extra set of hands.

Operation Christmas Child
Packing shoebox gifts with Samaritan’s Purse so kids around the world can experience God’s love, many for the first time.

Foster care & adoption support
Standing with kids in foster care and the families who open their homes to them, including our partner Isaiah 117 House.

Helping Hands serves households in our community and our church that could use some help with everyday needs and bigger projects.

Projects are scheduled when we have enough volunteers, usually evenings and weekends, but it could be anytime.

Grab a vest and a grabber. Our street cleanups are a great way to serve alongside your family, kids included.
Operation Christmas Child
One shoebox. One child. One Savior.
Every shoebox is an opportunity for a child to know Jesus. Each year we pack, label and send shoebox gifts with Samaritan’s Purse to kids around the world.

What does the Outreach Team do?
We meet practical needs in Gallatin, Sumner County and beyond: Adopt-a-Street cleanups, Helping Hands projects, serving meals, Operation Christmas Child, supporting Feed Sumner and standing with foster and adoptive families.
What is Helping Hands?
Helping Hands serves households in our community and church with things like yard work, hauling, rides, babysitting for single parents, household cleaning, storm cleanup and garden projects. To ask for help, reach out to our Prayer & Care Team or call the church office at (615) 451-6299. To volunteer, join the Outreach Team on Church Center.

How do I get involved?
Join the Outreach Team on Church Center. You’ll hear about upcoming projects and can jump in whenever you’re able.
Do I need any experience?
No. If you have a willing heart and a couple of free hours, there’s a place for you. Many projects, like our street cleanups, are great for families.
When do projects happen?
