Pastor Terrell is the lead and founding pastor of Freedom Church. God gave him the vision for Freedom Church in 2000, and he willingly accepted the call and challenge of starting a new church plant, which now, 23 years later, is a thriving church community in Sumner County. Terrell is a graduate of Oakland City University with an Associate of Arts in Religious Studies and of Union University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. He serves as the President of Freedom Church's Executive Team. Terrell firmly believes in the power of the Word of God to change lives. Therefore, he is a careful student of the Word of God, preaching it to meet the needs of people's every day lives. Before starting Freedom Church, he served one church as senior pastor and another as student pastor. He and his wife Shanda have three married daughters and ten wonderful grandchildren.
